From a quick glance, there's basically nothing left in my outbox, so this conversation will seem especially disjointed. But my inbox has a fair amount from Olaf, I think (?) going back to the root of figuring out Olaf.

It's not pushy you are perfectly fine to ask. I am good with this plan it would benefit us both. Let's be real I need someone here to work with and you seem like a very positive person. Do you have anyone else in mind for us to work with? I would like to be out of the firing line so this would be good for both of us. I think you might of been gone when she put you up as well. I have talked with gaston a little and have talked with Pocahontas a little as well. You got a lot of people on your list must be nice. A couple of the others I haven't talked with as much. I played for veto why did you wonder?

(Dodger's commentary on what was happening here: I didn't want to outright mention Gaston, and only Gaston... I basically suggested literally every except Pocahontas, to see how he'd react/which he'd choose)

Can I ask what the deal was I totally understand if you want it to stay with you though. If you tell me it stays with me I can guarantee that. I don't know her plans just that we have talked a couple of times if I knew something I would tell ya.

(Dodger's commentary: Since he mentioned Gaston specifically, I said that I'd been talking a bit to Gaston since the POV and liked him, and told Olaf that Gaston and I made a deal for him to save me, and then told Olaf the bare bones of the deal - I think I left out Elsa and Mulan?)

I noticed she said that as well it made me wonder as well. It could be an all girls alliance. Which would leave you me and gaston out I don't know this for sure but just a hunch if that makes sense.

(Dodger's commentary: I think I responded to this pointing out that Elsa was mentioned separately, so probably not part of that all-girls alliance. In hindsight, I now see why Olaf eventually suggested Elsa... in my effort to sway him toward Gaston, but ALSO keep Elsa out of the fray, I kind of shot myself - and Olaf and Gaston - in the foot. I wasn't trying to get Elsa involved in the alliance, and was also trying to make Gaston seem like a potentially good ally... but I did mention Elsa way too much, if only to keep her out of the fray... Oops! Sorry, Olaf!)

I am sorry you were put in that position it couldn't of been easy to decide. I am very grateful that you didn't nominate me. So here is a thought we could use Elsa and the three of us and that may get us somewhere. But whatever plan you have in mind works as well.

(Dodger's commentary: re-reading this, after reading Olaf's comments in the jury phase, I now think "the three of us" meant him/Gaston/me, not Elsa. Damn. I feel dumb and like I really screwed him over now... it was unintentional, though).

Ya she did. But she also kept me last time. I am trusting you plus if you aren't in the numbers then you are out. So if there is a way to be in the numbers I am willing to look past that nomination if she is. But it looks like we need four for majority if I see it correctly. Do you think it is an option?

If it goes to a tie the HOH would break it so that would be beneficial. Ya keeping gaston in the loop and with us is the best idea. They both are very good at challenges so one could win. Ya we can have a room with the three of us as long as she is ok with it.

Re-reading this in hindsight, it seems like Olaf was just trying to guard himself and not seem to enthusiastic, but it does seem like he did probably mean himself/Gaston/me.

I think I was just so wary of outing my alliance with Gaston that I wanted an enthusiastic, "YES! You, Gaston, and I should all work together!!!" so that Gaston and I would almost be *forced* to work together in Olaf's eyes. And the reality is he could've said that and it would've been fine... he would've been completely safe, it wouldn't have backfired on him. But he had no way of knowing that.

No, don't be sorry. Re-reading it, I should've understood what you were getting at, and feel dumb for not seeing that at the time. In the moment, playing the game with your cards hidden, things can seem different than they are. We were both trying to not say too much and screw ourselves over, but at least - at that moment - I was hoping for you to say more, so I wouldn't have to, and ended up missing a lot being so centered on hoping for that.
